Mark McColl
Attorney Mark A. McColl of The McColl Law Firm in St. Louis, Missouri is a sole practitioner practicing in the areas of corporate and commercial law, mergers & acquisitions, real estate, foreclosure, collections, estate planning and traffic matters. Mr. McColl received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication with honors from Lindenwood University and graduated Cum Laude from the Saint Louis University School of Law. While at Saint Louis University, Mr. McColl served as co-editor of the “Fidelity & Surety News,” a quarterly newsletter that services the surety industry. Mr. McColl was also a member and former magister of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity.
Mr. McColl has vast experience in both private practice and as in-house counsel, having served as corporate counsel for a publicly traded company, and as attorney in the corporate and real estate practice groups at the prestigious St. Louis law firms Rosenblum, Goldenhersh, Silverstein & Zafft, P.C. and Blumenfeld, Kaplan & Sandweiss, P.C. Upon gaining an in-depth knowledge of the laws pertaining to corporate and real estate practices, Mr. McColl broadened his practice to include other pertinent areas of the law to serve his client’s needs. He subsequently left private practice to serve as corporate counsel for Thermadyne Industries, a NASDAQ publicly traded company located in Chesterfield, Missouri. As corporate counsel, Mr. McColl’s responsibilities included reviewing contracts, managing product liability claims and litigation, overseeing compliance, preparing required SEC filings and maintaining all corporate records of a company with more than $450 million in sales. Mr. McColl left Thermadyne in 2009 to form his own practice.
A life-long St. Louisan, Mr. McColl lives in West St. Louis County with his wife and four children. He is a member of the Lindenwood University Alumni Board and a long-time, volunteer coach for the CYC and Chesterfield Athletic Association.
